The Weather News Report...

At 2:00 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 710 km East of Tuguegarao City (17.5°N, 129.4°E). Another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 230 km East of Casiguran, Aurora(16.5°N, 124.8°E). Monsoon trough affecting Luzon and Visayas. 


Luzon and Visayas will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over the western section of Southern Luzon and of Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides while Mindadano will have partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. 

Light to moderate winds blowing from the Southwest to South will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the Southwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
